SEOS looja / peadisainer – Tõnis Vellama
Tõnis on valgustite disainile pühendunud alates Kunstiakadeemia lõputööst – välisvalgusti sari, millest teostatud osa oli Rahvusraamatukogu peasissekäigutee valgustid.
Enne oma ettevõtte asutamist on Tõnis töötanud viis aastat Taani disainibüroos Jacob Jensen Design ja viis aastat Norra valgustitootja Glamox Eesti tehase disainerina.
Ta on SEOS Valgustuse autorikollektsiooni looja ja paljude ühiskondlike ruumide originaalvalgustite autor, mille hulgas on kontserdisaale, hotelle, saatkondi.
Tõnise üheks stiilinäiteks on moodsad lühtrid, kus on kombineeritud klassikaliste lühtrite vorm uusimate valgustehniliste võimalustega. Tema käekirja võiks tinglikult nimetada terminiga romantiline minimalism.
SEOS valgustid on osalenud paljude Eesti disaini tutvustavate näituste väljapanekutes üle maailma.
